Denise Marie (Faisant) Berger's Obituary
Denise Marie (Faisant) Berger, 67, of North Syracuse, passed away Tuesday evening at the Francis House surrounded by her daughters. She was born in Lancaster, NY, the daughter of the late Julian and Rosalind (Connelly) Faisant. Denise was a teacher at Chestnut Ridge Elementary School in the Churchville Chili, NY School District. Her gift of laughter was shared with all, and is a treasure that will never be forgotten.
She was predeceased by her granddaughter, Anna N. Pullano; her grandson, Michael J. Pullano, brother, Julien Faisant and sister, Rosalind T. Faisant.
Denise is survived by her four daughters, Karen (William) Pullano of Syracuse, Katie Nicholas of Illinois, Joanna Berger of California and Christina Berger of North Syracuse; ten grandchildren, Nichole, Danielle, Karrina, Andrew, Laura, Melissa and Olivia Pullano, Christopher, Matthew and Zackary Nicholas; her brother, Robert (Lana) Faisant; sister-in-law, Annette Faisant, along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Rosary Service will be held at 9:30 am on Saturday, June 27, 2015 at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, followed by a funeral mass in celebration of Denise’s life at 11:00 am at St. Margaret’s Church in Mattydale. Entombment will be at noon on Tuesday, June 30, 2015 at St. Mary of the Assumption Cemetery in Lancaster, NY. Family and friends may call from 4:00 to 7:00 pm on Friday, June 26, 2015 at the funeral home, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY.
