Dennis Richard Cyriacks, Sr.'s Obituary
Dennis Richard Cyriacks, Sr., 64, of Syracuse, passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday, June 22, 2024. Dennis was born in Manhattan, NY to the late Vincent and Dorothy (Martin) Cyriacks. He was a professional “relocation engineer” as he referred to himself, and owned and operated a local moving business, Admired Movers, Inc. and later finished his career with Victory Van Corporation, an agent for Allied Van Line. He loved all sports and took a great amount of pride in coaching his own children in baseball and softball. Dennis was an avid Giants fan and enjoyed riding his motorcycle and snowmobile.
In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his brothers, Brian and Steven Cyriacks and his dog, Benny.
Dennis is survived by his wife, Dorothy (Hrbek) Cyriacks; his children, Dennis Richard (Amanda) Cyriacks, Jr., Danielle Lauren (Jason) Taylor, Steven Michael Cyriacks, and Sabrina Lynn (Nicholas) Naylor; his grandchildren, Chase, Brianna, Raegen, Paige, Tassie, Dennis III, Jordyn, Joslynn, Jaxson, Mackenzie, Delilah, and Dylan; his siblings, Vincent Cyriacks and Jennifer Harkowsky; his pets, Bishop, Bella, Piper, and Honey; along with several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In keeping with Dennis’ wishes funeral services will be private.
