Dennis Charles Schneider "D"'s Obituary
Dennis Charles Schneider “D”, 62, of Liverpool, passed away August 24, 2020 at Crouse Hospital. He was born in Fulton, NY, son of the late Rudolph R. Schneider and Mary A. Prior. Dennis worked as a computer programmer for over 30 years and was employed with Unity Mutual Life Insurance Co. in Syracuse. He enjoyed coaching his four sons in basketball and baseball; he also had a passion for taking photos at sporting events and family gatherings.
Dennis is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Crystal (Canell) Schneider; 4 sons, Scott Schneider, Steven (Hannah) Schneider, Shawn (Madeline) Schneider and Spencer Schneider; 4 grandchildren; siblings, Rudolph R. (Ann) Schneider, Jr., Andrew (Janice) Schneider, Mary Lou (Mark) Mitchell, Jean Grant, and Jane (Daniel) Gomer; 20 nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, August 28, 2020 from 11 am – 1 pm, immediately followed by a PRIVATE funeral service at THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY. The family encourages those attending wear casual, sports attire, or jerseys.
