Diamond S. Riccelli's Obituary
Diamond S. Riccelli, 76, of Syracuse, passed away peacefully with his loving wife by his side at St. Joseph’s Hospital on February 16, 2019. Diamond was born in Syracuse, son of the late Carmen and Philomena (Naples) Riccelli.
His smile and zest for life lit up a room and everyone who met him, loved him. He adored his son and daughter, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Diamond had a love for animals and enjoyed taking care of his dog and cat.
Diamond is survived by his wife of 19 years, Allison (Call) Riccelli; his son, Carmen D. (Kelly) Riccelli of Fort Lauderdale, FL; his daughter, Jacqueline Celi of Fort Pierce, FL; five grandchildren, Amanda, Pasquale, Diamond, Roman and Lucy Sophia; two great-grandchildren, Stella and Noah; two step-children, Amy (John) Barrera and Jessica (Tommy) Galvin, both of Syracuse; his brother, Richard (Phyllis) Riccelli of Ashburn, VA.
A Memorial Mass in celebration of Diamond’s life will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, February 20, 2019 at Blessed Sacrament Church, 3127 James St., Syracuse, NY.
