Diana Nancy (Magari) Bartlett's Obituary
Diana Nancy (Magari) Bartlett, 73, of Manlius, NY, passed away peacefully in her home, after a brief illness, surrounded by her loving family.
Diana was President of the Bart-Rich Group. She also owned the Bartlett Family Clydesdales along with her husband of 40 years, the late Richard “Dick” Bartlett. Diana, the matriarch of the Bartlett Family, lived each day with passion and integrity. She loved her family and friends deeply, and found her most joy in spending time with her four grandchildren. She enjoyed gardening, traveling and working with her sons. Her spirit and excitement towards life will be greatly missed.
Diana was predeceased by her parents, Frank and Rose Magari of Syracuse, NY.
She is survived by sons, Richard L. (Elizabeth) Bartlett, Jr. of Jamesville, NY, Mark F. (Jennifer) Bartlett of Jamesville, NY and Brian Bartlett of Manlius, NY; four grandchildren, Victoria and Richard L. Bartlett III of Jamesville NY, Samuel and Jacob Bartlett of Jamesville, NY; her sister, Marlene (Joseph) Carlucci of East Syracuse, NY and first cousin, Joanne Balduzzi of Solvay NY; also many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. She was fortunate to share her last few years with her companion Dave Howell, who brought joy and happiness to her life through all of their adventures.
The family wishes to thank all of the people who supported and cared for her especially Marlene, Veronica, Sue and Katie who cared for Diana like a member of their very own family until the very end.
Funeral services will be held at 9:00 am on Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, followed by a Funeral Mass in celebration of Diana’s life at 10:00 am in Our Lady of Pompei/St. Peter Church. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery. Family and friends may call from 4:00 – 7:00 pm on Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at the funeral home, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY.
