Diane (Kohles) Lamacchia's Obituary
Diane (Kohles) Lamacchia, 81, of Syracuse, passed away peacefully on Friday at Upstate Hospital at Community General. She was born in Syracuse, daughter of the late John Sr. and Jane (Crowley) Kohles. Diane was employed as a teacher with the Syracuse City School District for many years before retiring. She was an avid and very talented piano player, and also enjoyed spending time with her many friends.
She was predeceased by her husband, Anthony Lamacchia in 2013.
Diane is survived by her brother, John (Nina) Kohles; her niece, Christie Ray; nephews, Christopher J. Kohles and Daniel Kohles; many cousins, including special cousin, Susan Putnam who was of great assistance to Diane.
There will be no calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, December 18, 2019 at 10 a.m. in Holy Family Church, 127 Chapel Drive, Syracuse. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
