Diogene L. “Dodge” Monteleone, 89, of Fayetteville and Syracuse, New York passed away after a brief illness May 18, 2018 at Crouse Hospital comforted by his family. He was born in Syracuse, New York to the late Diogene L. & Conce Read Obituary

My mother Maryann and I send our condolences and fond thoughts of Dodge.
Another great guy from that very special generation. Dodge always cared to ask
us how things were going as we were growing up. We shared a similar start in life
at SUNY Morrisville but will always remember his happy smile at the lighting store.
He was a wonderful person to everyone. A true friend to us youngsters
when we were growing up. My mom will be 91 in July, doing well and sends her thoughts
and prayers. Love to you and your family.

My sincere condolences go out to all of you during this tough time.
Working for the county I spent many an hour at Royal picking up much needed electrical parts and Dodge being a ole Family friend of Madge. We would always talk family and all the sports that our families played throughout the years. Coffee was plentiful and I would walk around the counter to get to him. He was such a great guy to know and I know that he will be missed by everyone that knew him. Rest In Peace Dodge and May God Bless you and your Family too.

So sorry to hear about the passing of "Dodge." We all enjoyed the holiday gatherings at the Hamel's through the years, which is where we able to spend time with Dodge and his family. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you.
