Domenica (Federico) Magnante's Obituary
Domenica (Federico) Magnante, 95, of Syracuse, passed away Monday at James Square surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Italy, the daughter of Francesco and Filomena (Cocchi) Federico. Domenica was employed with Julius Resnick Pocketbook Factory until it closed. She was predeceased by her husband, Giovanni Magnante in 2011, her daughter, Frances Marcoccia and her son, Achille Magnante. Domenica is survived by her son, Germano (Marcelina) Magnante of Camillus; her daughter, Milena (Jerry) Cimino of North Syracuse; son-in-law, Tino Marcoccia of Constantia; daughter-in-law, Emma Magnante of Italy; 11 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; a step-granddaughter, along with many nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 9:00 am in the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME and 10:00 am in Our Lady of Pompei/St. Peter Church, where a mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Entombment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery Mausoleum. Family and friends may call at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse on Thursday from 4:00 to 7:00 pm.
