Domenick P. Rotella's Obituary
Domenick P. Rotella, 85, of N. Syracuse, passed away Wednesday at Sunnyside Care Center in Minoa. He was born in Syracuse, son of the late Joseph and Catherine (Perrella) Rotella. He retired from the NYS DOT after many years of service. Domenick enjoyed taking pictures, gardening, and planting his vegetables and flowers. He was an active leader in the Men’s Ministry at Life Church which was very important to him.
He was predeceased by his parents, and sister, Mary Morano.
Domenick is survived by his wife of 52 years, Mary “Nina” Rotella; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A calling hour will be held on Monday, January 9, 2017 from 12:00 – 1:00 PM, immediately followed by a Funeral Service in celebration of Domenick’s life at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Domenick may be made to Life Church (Missions Account), 7125 Collamer Rd., East Syracuse, NY 13057.
