Dominick J. Barletta, Jr.'s Obituary
Dominick J. Barletta, Jr., 92, of Syracuse, NY, passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday, March 28, 2020 with his loving family by his side. He was born on the Northside of Syracuse and was proud of his Italian heritage. Dominick graduated from North High School and he was head usher at Lowe’s State Theater before enlisting in the Navy in 1945 and was stationed on the ship USS Green. Upon returning home, he worked for General Electric for over 40 years.
He was predeceased by his wife Ann Mercurio, his brothers, Ignatius, Jack and James and his sisters Grace Bavaria and Sue Cerio.
He is survived by his children, Mary (Joe) Cominolli, Dominic (Tricia) Barletta, Ann (Kevin) Brazell and David (Carol) Barletta; 15 grandchildren and 10 Great-Grandchildren.
A private funeral service in celebration of Dominick’s life will be held at 12:00 P.M. on Wednesday, April 1, 2020. Dominick will be laid to rest in Assumption Cemetery, Syracuse.
