Dominick J. Ranieri's Obituary
Dominick J. Ranieri, 82, of Syracuse passed away on Wednesday, November 25, 2015. He was born in Syracuse, the son of the late Anthony and Victoria Ranieri. Dominick served in the United States Army from 1953-1961 and was awarded the Korean Service Medal. He was a Mail Carrier with the U.S. Postal Service for over 30 years. Dominick was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.
He was predeceased by his son, Anthony and three siblings, Rose, Mary Ann and Elizabeth.
Dominick is survived by his wife Palma; his son, Michael (Lynette) Ranieri; his daughter, Patty Puglisi; his grandchildren, Kristen, Curtis, Marissa and Nicole; his great-grandchildren, Chase and Abigail; his brothers, Joseph (Pat) and Anthony Ranieri; his brother-in-law, Arthur Palermo and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Family and Friends may call at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd., (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse on Monday, November 30, 2015 from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M, followed by a Funeral Service in celebration of Dominick’s life at 11:00 A.M. by Rev. James Mathews. Interment with Military Honors will be held in the Onondaga County Veterans Cemetery.
