Donald C. "Don" Alexander's Obituary
Donald C. “Don” Alexander, 66, of Brewerton, passed away at Crouse Hospital on July 23, 2019. He was born in Syracuse, son of the late Donald C. and Sally Alexander. Don graduated from Corcoran High School and went on to serve with the U.S. Army from 1972 – 1974. Don worked at Oberdorfer, LLC from 1975 – 2013, as a Certified NDT Level II Penetrant Inspector. He continued working for 3 ½ years at the VA Medical Center, retiring in February 2018. Don enjoyed mowing his lawn, working around the house and relaxing on his deck. He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed watching golf, hockey, the NY Yankees and the Green Bay Packers.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Francine Alexander.
Don is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Carol (Bucci) Alexander; his daughter, Jennifer Mazur of Liverpool; two grandchildren, Lucian and Anthony Mazur; his brother, John (Loretta Windhausen) Alexander of Syracuse, along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Calling hours will be held on Sunday, July 28, 2019 from 1 – 3:30 pm, immediately followed by a funeral service in celebration of Don’s life at 3:30 pm at THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY.
