Donald R. Bill's Obituary
Donald R. Bill, 83, of Liverpool, passed away on Monday at the Francis House. He was born in Syracuse and served with the U.S. Navy during WWII. Donald was an avid fisherman and hunter and enjoyed carving wooden ducks. He was a bus driver with Greyhound for 35 years, retiring in 1987 and then worked for ADP (Automatic Data Processing) for 9 years. He was predeceased by his brothers, John and Carmen Pilla and Bob Bill; also a sister, Mary Jane Bill. Donald is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Mary C. (Nicotra) Bill; his son, Joseph D. (Theresa) Bill of Liverpool and his daughter, Ann Marie (Robert) Palucci of Liverpool; 5 grandchildren, Annina, Daniella and Adriana Palucci, Robert Palucci II and Michael Bill; a brother, Louis Bill of Erie, PA and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday at 10:00 AM in Thomas J. Pirro Funeral Home and 11:00 AM in Sacred Heart Church, Cicero, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Entombment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 4 to 7 pm. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Francis House. Donald's family would like to express a sincere "thank you" to the nursing staff at Upstate University Hospital, floor 8G and the wonderful caregivers at the Francis House.
