Donald C. Brower's Obituary
Donald C. Brower, 64, of Cicero, passed away unexpectedly on September 7, 2022. He was born in Syracuse, son of the late Walter C. and Marion E. (Lipke) Brower. Don was a school bus driver with the North Syracuse School District for over 30 dedicated years. He was an extremely hard-working man who always put family first. Don enjoyed camping with his wife, children, beloved grandchildren, and dog Dublin. He also got great joy from watching the Yankees and Buffalo Bills.
In addition to his parents, he is also predeceased by his brother, Thomas Brower.
Don is survived by his beloved wife of 40 years, Debra A. (Stafford) Brower; three daughters, Jacquelyn Brower, Meeghan (Justin) Mussington and Emily Brower; his son, Daniel Brower; two granddaughters, Kelcey and Maya; three brothers, James Brower, Robert (Suzette) Brower and John (Janice) Brower; his sister, Anne (Edward) Ramie.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, September 13, 2022, from 4:00 – 7:00 pm at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY. A Funeral Mass in celebration of Donald’s life will take place at 10:00 am on Wednesday, September 14, 2022, in St. Rose of Lima Church, 409 S. Main St., North Syracuse, NY. Private burial will be in North Syracuse Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a favorite charity of choice.
