Donald C. Dobson's Obituary
Donald C. Dobson, 62, passed away peacefully on April 18th, 2019 with Chad and Tara by his side.
Donald is a member of:
Pulaski High School class of ‘75
United States Marine Corps 3rd Force RECON
Local Union 73
Ringold Fire Department
Masonic Temple
American Legion
Pulaski Little League Coach
Pulaski Popwarner Football Coach
Above all else, he was a proud United States Marine and loving father. He enjoyed being outdoors, hunting, watching his grandchildren play sports, volunteering his time, helping others and he loved animals. His larger than life laugh will be missed by many, as he was able to find the humor in every situation and look at the positive side. At the same time, he was the smartest, most realistic, brash personality you’d come across. He often said “I’m here for a fun time, not a long time” - truer words have never been spoken. He always had fun and he always spoke the truth.
Donald is pre-deceased by his beloved grandparents, Clyde and Ruth Dobson.
Donald is survived by his son, Chad (Renee) Dobson; daughter, Tara (Paul) Joynt; grandchildren, Mason Dawley, Isabelle Dobson, Tanner Trust, Josephine Joynt, Gemma Joynt, and Paul Joynt; parents, Clyde (Sharon) Dobson and Shirley (Don) Coe; brothers, Douglas (Judy) Dobson, Duane Dobson, and Darryl Dobson; along with many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins.
