Donald S. Herpel's Obituary
Donald S. Herpel, 94, of Liverpool, passed away on Thursday at Iroquois Nursing Home in Jamesville. He was born in Allentown, PA and resided in the Syracuse area for almost 70 years. Donald was employed with Carrier Corporation for 38 years, retiring in 1976. He was a mason and a former member of the Baldwinsville Masonic Lodge. Donald also loved fishing and hunting. He was predeceased by his first wife, Emma Herpel in 1974. Donald is survived by his current wife, Concetta Bundy Georgianna Herpel; sons, Kenneth (Debbie) Herpel of Cape Vincent and Dale D. (Diana) Herpel of North Syracuse; 3 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, sisters, Geraldine of Pennsylvania; Adeline Hartman of Florida and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be conducted by Rev. Diane Wheatley on Monday at 10:00 AM in the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY. Burial will follow in White Chapel Memory Gardens, DeWitt. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday from 1 to 4 PM. Contributions may be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 210 Hazel St., Liverpool, NY 13088.
