Donald A. Schad Jr.'s Obituary
Donald Allen Schad, Jr., 59, of Liverpool, passed away May 18, 2024, at Crouse Hospital surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Syracuse and graduated from APW High School. Donald was the owner and operator of Don’s Commercial Repair in Liverpool.
He was an avid Scale Model Builder and avid NASCAR fan. Donald loved spending time with his beloved dogs.
He is predeceased by his father, Donald A. Schad, Sr. and his dogs, Fletcher, Odie and Griff.
Donald is survived by his wife, Bernadine Erickson; children, Ashleigh (Matthew) Cottrill, Jesse and Michael Schad, and Adrian Erickson; 6 grandchildren; his stepmother, April (O’Brien) Schad; 3 siblings, David (Sandra) Schad, Ginger (John) Gersbacher and Alethea (Michael) Lee; and his dogs, Loki, Thor and Ghost.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, May 24, 2024, from 10 am – 1pm, immediately followed by a funeral service in celebration of Donald’s life at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) N. Syracuse, NY.
He will be laid to rest in White Chapel Memory Gardens, DeWitt, NY.
