Donna R. (Lucheso) Barbuto's Obituary
Donna R. (Lucheso) Barbuto, 91, of Syracuse, passed away peacefully at Menorah Park on Thursday, March 23, 2023. Born in Syracuse, daughter of the late Nicholas and Rose (DeBartelo) Lucheso, she was a longtime dedicated employee of Crucible Steel in Solvay. She was a wonderful mother and always enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her beloved granddaughter.
Along with her parents, Donna was predeceased by her husband, Theodore J. Barbuto; her sister, Fannie Litz, and her brother, Louis Lucheso.
Donna is survived by her son, Theodore D. Barbuto; granddaughter, Miya Barbuto; brother, Nick Lucheso; nieces, Debbie Litz, Cindy (Dale) LaPiere, Theresa Litz, Denise Litz, Donna (Paul) Litz, and Barbara DiMarchi; a nephew, Al Litz; as well as several cousins.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, March 29, 2023, from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM at St. Daniel Church. A funeral Mass will follow at 12:10 PM in the church, 3004 Court St., Syracuse. She will be laid to rest beside her husband in Assumption Cemetery.
