Donna A. (Houck) Hanavan's Obituary
Donna A. (Houck) Hanavan, 64, of Clay, passed away Thursday at home. She was born in Syracuse, the daughter of Donald and Virginia (Hefner) Houck. She was employed by KeyBank for 20 years, Empower Federal Credit Union, and State Farm Insurance where she retired from. Donna was an avid gardener, and enjoyed boating with her husband for many years. She was predeceased by her mother Virginia (Hefner) Houck in 1983. Donna is survived by her husband of 42 years, Owen F. Hanavan; her father Donald E. Houck; her sister Cynthia (Edward) Koolakian; brothers Richard (Helen) Houck, Donald E. Houck Jr., and John Scott (Stephanie) Houck; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 am in the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery. Family and friends may call at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse on Monday from 4:00 to 7:00 pm.
