Donna L. (Cook) Maxwell's Obituary
Donna L. (Cook) Maxwell, 53, of DeWitt, passed away August 25, 2021 at Upstate University Hospital. She was born in Oswego, NY. She graduated from Oswego High School then attended Bryant & Stratton Business School. Donna was employed with Lockheed Martin in Liverpool for the past 31 years. She enjoyed kayaking, hiking, photography, reading and traveling.
She is predeceased by her father, Edward W. Cook, Sr. Donna is survived by her loving husband, William H. Maxwell; her son, Joshua L. Wheeler; her daughter, Katelyn M. Wheeler; her mother, Linda J. (VonHoltz) Cook; siblings, Lisa McArdell, Denise L. Doyle (Brian), Edward W. Cook, Jr. (Svea) and Cynthia A. Cook; several nieces and nephews, and her two fur babies, Maddie and Henry (The Standard Poodles).
Visitation will be held on Monday, August 30, 2021 from 2 – 4 pm, followed by a celebration of Donna’s life at 4:30 pm at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Saint Agatha Foundation c/o National Philanthropic Trust, 165 Township Line Rd., Suite 1200 Jenkintown, PA 19046. This charity provides emotional and financial support to women battling Breast Cancer.
