Doris M. (DeLaurie) Capparelli's Obituary
Doris M. Capparelli, 82, passed away Friday, November 16, 2018 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Doris was born in Moira, NY to the late Merchant and Alice (Russel) DeLaurie. She loved long car rides daily with her beloved husband and spending time with her family and friends, especially her cherished grandchildren.
Besides her parents, Doris is predeceased by her three sisters, Kathleen, Beverly, and Joan.
Doris is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, Louis A. Capparelli, Sr.; her three sons, Anthony L. (Pam) Capparelli, James M. (Kathy) Capparelli, and Louis A. (Dawn) Capparelli, Jr.; her two daughters, Cynthia (Mariano) Ruggeri and Debra A. Mills; 7 grandchildren, Mariano, Christopher, Dana, Alicia, James, Zachary, and Alexandra; 5 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Norman and Donald DeLaurie; sister, Sharon Weeks; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A Funeral Mass in celebration of Doris’ life will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday, November 21, 2018 at Holy Family Church, Fairmount. Family and friends may call from 4:00 – 7:00 pm on Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY.
