Doris M. (Cordell) Armstrong's Obituary
Doris M. (Cordell) Armstrong, 87, of Cicero, passed away peacefully at Morningstar in Oswego, NY. She was born in Canastota, NY, daughter of the late George & Laura (Hurd) Cordell. Doris was employed at Thee Diner for 22 years and more recently worked at Kim’s Diner as the “Silverware Lady.”
She is predeceased by her husband, George “Art” Armstrong; brothers, Francis & Robert; sisters, Geraldine & Betty.
Doris is survived by two daughters, Jeannette (Joe) Grammatico & Georgia (Mike) Frey; a son, Chuck (Terry) Shownes; 7 grandchildren, Vito, Chris, Kevin, Jeanelle, Natalie, Kalli & Konnor; 2 great-grandchildren, Tyler & Sophia.

Calling hours will be held on Saturday, August 8, 2020 from 10 am – 12 pm, immediately followed by a Funeral Service in celebration of Doris’ life at 12 pm at THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY. Burial will take place in Hillside Cemetery, Central Square, NY.
