Dorothy (Carpenter) Kristopowitz's Obituary
Dorothy (Carpenter) Kristopowitz, 73, of Liverpool, passed away peacefully on December 22, 2022, at St. Joseph’s Hospital. Born in Nanticoke, PA to the late Anne (Allbaugh) and William Carpenter, Dorothy, along with her husband, retired from FUJI photo after many dedicated years. Dorothy enjoyed watching movies and TV, especially auto racing. She was a former bowler, and avid crossword enthusiast. Above all, she loved being with her family, especially her beloved grandchildren.
Dorothy was predeceased by her husband, Joseph, in 2021, her brother, Ronald Carpenter, and her dog, Lefty.
She is survived by her three children: Marvin (Gayle) Brew, Bryan, and Amanda (John) Arndt; three grandsons: Adam Searle, Alexander Brew and Griffin Arndt; a sister-in-law, Michele Carpenter; and her 2 dogs, Jake, and Junior.
A private funeral service in celebration of Dorothy’s life will be held at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY. She will be laid to rest in Pine Plains Cemetery, Clay.
