Dorothy (Block) Sehl's Obituary
Dorothy (Block) Sehl, 84, of Cicero, passed away September 7, 2020 at St. Joseph’s Hospital. She was born in Cazenovia, NY, daughter of the late Benton and Edith (Nichols) Block. Dorothy worked as a School Nurse for Roxboro Middle School. She enjoyed crosswords and playing cards; Dorothy also was a great baker and taught her granddaughters everything she knows. She loved traveling, especially to Florida.
In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by two sisters, Margaret Ball and Ruth Chavoustie. Dorothy is survived by her husband of 64 years, Francis “Bud” Sehl; five children, Jean (Charles) Everett, Barbara (Robert) Rafka, Daniel (Debbie) Sehl, Janie (Mario) Pallotta, and Edye (Rick) Zinter; five granddaughters; a sister, Joan (Preston) Wiley, along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Private services will be held at a later date. Funeral arrangements entrusted to THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME.
