Durstene E. "Dusty" (Easton) Pagano's Obituary
Durstene E. “Dusty” (Easton) Pagano, 75, of Syracuse, passed away Friday, March 7, 2025, at St. Joseph’s Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Syracuse, daughter of the late Arthur C. and Vivian D. Easton.
Dusty, known lovingly as “Ama” by her 9 grandchildren, enjoyed shopping, crafting, theater, baking her specialty “buckeye balls”, hosting holidays and celebrations, and doing anything that involved her grandchildren. She also enjoyed volunteering her time at Fabius Pompey School District.
Along with her parents, she was predeceased by her beloved grandchildren, Gia L. and Gavin R. Myers; her siblings, Arthur and Willard Easton, and her dog, Beamer.
Dusty is survived by her loving husband, Joseph J. Pagano; her children, Gina (Bob) Myers, Lisa (Joshu) Coppola, Anthony (Cristina) Pagano, and Ted Pagano (Adzim Auzar); grandchildren, Olivia, Victoria, Isabella and Noah Coppola, and Giuseppe, Francesco and Antonino Pagano along with many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A funeral Mass in celebration of Dusty’s life will be held at 12:00 p.m. (Noon), on Saturday, March 15, 2025, in Blessed Sacrament Church, 3127 James Street, Syracuse.
