Edda (Geremia) Buzzelli's Obituary
Edda (Geremia) Buzzelli, 77, of Liverpool, passed away peacefully at home with her loving family by her side on Tuesday, March 10, 2015. She was born in Italy, the daughter of the late Antonio and Margarita Geremia. Edda was formerly employed as a seamstress by the Learbury Clothing Company. She loved the outdoors and enjoyed taking long walks in her neighborhood. She also loved spending time with her family in the Adirondacks and visiting the Lake Placid area.
Edda is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Vincent Buzzelli, Sr., her three children, Robert (Christina) Buzzelli of Liverpool, Vincent Buzzelli, Jr. of Liverpool, and David Buzzelli of Baldwinsville; her brother, Delio Geremia of North Carolina; her sister, Elsa (Guido) Vellone of Fairmount, along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral services will be held at 9:00 am on Friday, March 13, 2015 at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, followed by a Funeral Mass in celebration of Edda’s life at 10:00 am in Our Lady of Pompei/St. Peter Church. Entombment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery Mausoleum. Family and friends may call from 4:00 to 7:00 pm on Thursday, March 12, 2015 at the funeral home, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY.
