Edmund J. "Bud" Burns, Jr.'s Obituary
Edmund J. “Bud” Burns, Jr., 82, of Syracuse, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, September 12, 2025. He was born in Syracuse, son of the late C. Joan and Edmund J. Burns, Sr. and was a graduate of Central Tech High School. Bud worked for many dedicated years at New Process Gear. He was an avid collector of political memorabilia and was a NY Yankees and Giants fan. He was a Harley Davidson enthusiast and member of the Buick Club of CNY. Bud loved the outdoors and camping as well.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his daughter, Laura Burns.
Bud is survived by three daughters, Kathleen Brickhouse, Carrin (Gary) Buckley and Erin Lewis; his brother, William Burns (Maria Holmes); his grandchildren, Anthony, Tyler, Anna Marie, Ashley, Ean, Kristopher, Marquice, Kam Ronn and Mickala.
