A true gentleman. Had the honor of knowing him with the amount of hard work/dedication he put into at Holy Family. A true family man who loved his family in more ways than one. My prayers go out to all of Ed's family/friends
As director of the cyo, I knew Ed for many years in his role as coach, athletic director and leader of youth development at Holy Family.
His dedication to the youth of the parish was exemplary and he worked more diligently than anyone in building the sports activities at Holy Family.
While it’s been many years since I’ve seen Ed, I remember him with a smile and a strong sense of admiration.
He was indeed one of the good guys.

My deepest condolences to the Campagna family. Ed was athletic director at Holy Family when was an assistant coach for varsity CYO basketball. What a great person, he was supportive, friendly and loving all the years I knew him, stopping me at Wegmans to check in. He will be missed greatly but NEVER forgotten. God bless, Ted Merante

My condolences to you on your loss. That smile that Ed always wore, I first met him in the fall of 1980 when I was the Youth Activities Coordinator for Parish Services Division at Catholic Charities. Ed was one of the most dedicated coaches and mentors for the Youth at Holy Family that I every had the pleasure to know. His genuine smile and commitment was never faltering. He was a faithful servant and certainly is celebrating with his wife and others in Heaven. May your memories bring smiles through your tears in the coming days.

Ed touched so many lives. Basketball was the conduit but so much more than a game to him. It helped him shape lives for the better. He will truly be missed. Feel like I’m losing my Dad all over again. He fought the good fight.
