Edward "Mutley" Payment's Obituary
Edward “Mutley” Payment, 67, of Liverpool, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 1, 2019 with his wife by his side. A native of Tupper Lake, Ed was born February 2, 1952, son of the late Ivan and Margaret Payment. He graduated from Canton College and moved to Baldwinsville where he lived most of his life and worked at Stadium International for 30+ years.
Ed was an avid boater happily clad in a Hawaiian shirt with a beer in hand, member of the American Wine Society, lifelong fan of the Jets and Mets, an SU Orangepack member for football and basketball, and proud member of Alpha Theta Gamma fraternity.
He is survived by his wife, Michele (Adler) Payment of 20 years; his stepchildren, Stacey (Mike) Wright and Ken Otter; his siblings, Karen (Larry), Mike (Deb), and Ellen; as well as four beloved grandchildren, niece, nephews, and in-laws.
Ed’s family would like to thank all who provided love and support these last few months.
Family and friends may call on Friday, September 6, 2019 from 4:00 – 7:00 pm at THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse. A funeral service in celebration of Edward’s life will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, September 7, 2019 at THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME with burial to follow at Riverview Cemetery, Baldwinsville.
