Edward Bradley Poirier's Obituary
Edward Bradley Poirier, 66, of Clay, passed away May 22, 2025 at Upstate University Hospital. He was born in Syracuse, son of the late Edward Joseph Poirier and Nina Elizabeth Austin. Ed was employed with Dick’s Sporting Goods and KayBee Toys. He was a member of the Maple Road Boyz Car Club, and loved all sports, especially the Red Sox, Green Bay Packers and Pittsburgh Penguins.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his beloved dogs, Spirit and Neville.
Edward is survived by his children, Eric (Lisa) Poirier, Renee (Gary) McGuire, Matthew (Mekala) Poirier, Christian Poirier, Brett (Lauren) Poirier, and Ryan (Vickie) Poirier; his grandchildren, Reese and Emma Poirier, Owen and Jackson McGuire, Morgan and Maxwell Poirier; two sisters, Lonnie Coy and Laura Velasquez, his special niece, Paige Szymanak, his great-niece, Evyrlee, and former wife, Lisa Poirier Grace.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, May 28, 2025 from 4:00 – 6:00 pm, immediately followed by a funeral service in celebration of Edward’s life at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY.
