Some of my fondest childhood memories were from the time spent with Dad whether we were camping, tying flies or night crawling for worms, boating, snowmobiling, canoeing to gig frogs, or just listening to his stories. (You can tell I used to be a tomboy.) Dad loved being active and outdoors which he passed on to me. I remember when he taught me how to drive and the long country drives we would take on Sundays to stop for BBQ, the love for which I inherited. As an adult, I appreciated all the trips he and my stepmother made to visit us in Virginia Beach and the many mementos I have for remembering him. He instilled in me his love for our country and his sense of honesty. I will miss him, but Dad's life was full and I'm comforted in knowing that he rests in peace now.
His loving daughter,
Mickey (Michele)
