Edward P. Weslowski's Obituary
Edward P. Weslowski, 71, of North Syracuse, passed away Thursday, April 9, 2015. He was born in Syracuse, the son of the late Anna (Susnock) and Stanley Weslowski. Ed attended North Syracuse High School and upon graduating received a job with the Penny Curtiss Bakery, a job he ended up retiring from 45 years later. He also was Union Steward for the BCTGM International Union and served on the Safety Committee and the Sunshine Committee. Ed enjoyed traveling, classic cars, music, sports, and spending time with friends, family, and his pets. He was a great socializer and supported any function or fundraiser he could.
He was predeceased by his infant son Mark and his step-mother Iva.
Edward is survived by his wife of 50 years, Michaela (Lyons) Weslowski; children, Todd Weslowski of Mattydale and Andrea Calcagnino of Myrtle Beach; granddaughter, Nicole Mattison; great-granddaughter, Natalie Mattison, along with many cousins.
A Funeral Service in celebration of Edwards’s life will be held at 7:00 pm on Friday, May 8, 2015 at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME. Entombment will take place privately at the convenience of the family. Family and friends may call from 4:00 to 7:00 pm on Friday, May 8, 2015 at the funeral home, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY.
