Egon K. Heil's Obituary
Egon K. Heil, 72, of Liverpool, passed away Thursday, December 24, 2015 at St. Joseph’s Hospital. He was born in Obbach, Germany, the son of the late Otto and Elizabeth (Bach) Heil. Egon was the owner and operator of Danzer’s Restaurant in Syracuse for many years and also operated other restaurants throughout the years. He was a Ship/Yacht Captain his whole life and rescued boats in peril. Egon loved traveling with his loving wife.
Egon is survived by his wife, Anne (Bianco) Heil; his sister, Rosemarie Roberts of Syracuse; his nephew, Michael Roberts of Syracuse and his three beloved little dogs, Fritzie, Zsa Zsa and Bruno.
Calling hours for family and friends will be held on Tuesday, December 29, 2015 from 4:00 – 6:30 pm, followed by a service in celebration of Egon’s life at 6:30 pm in the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY.
