Elaine H. Renaud's Obituary
Elaine H. (Byrne) Renaud, 76, of North Syracuse, passed away Thursday at St. Joseph’s Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Syracuse, the daughter of the late Joseph and Laura (Rowe) Byrne. Elaine was employed with Smith Corona, NY Telephone and was also a receptionist with Dr. Borrows for many years. She enjoyed baking and was an avid gardener. But most of all, she loved spending time with her cherished children and grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her parents, her husband, Robert Renaud, and her brother, Joseph Byrne. Elaine is survived by her two daughters, Laurie (James) Hoke and Dawn Delap; her son, James (Kerry Bishal) Bertollini; her step-children, Paul, Steve and Karen; 15 grandchildren, Jay, Johnny, Austin, Leland, Nicholas, Danielle, Scott, Raymond, Sandy, Michael, Bobby, David, Nicole, Ryan and Julie; 6 great-grandchildren, Josh, Kayla, Jenah, Haile, Gavyn and Kayla; 2 sisters, Madge Koch and Marlene Cesar; sister-in-law, Alice Renaud, along with several nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.
Special thanks to John, Traci and Joanne for their extra love, care and support during Elaine's illness. Also to the doctors and nurses at Brittonfield and St. Joseph's Hospital for their compassion and care.
Family and friends are invited to attend a calling hour on Wednesday, July 2, 2014 from 11:00 am to 12:00 noon, with services to follow at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY. Burial will be in Assumption Cemetery.
