Eleanor M. Spano's Obituary
Eleanor M. (Boardman) Spano, 88, of Phoenix, NY, passed away September 19, 2020 at St. Camillus Health & Rehabilitation. She was born in Forestport, NY, daughter of the late Gary Boardman and Mary Ramsey.
Eleanor worked as a seamstress at Learbury’s, retiring after many years of dedicated service.
She is predeceased by her husband, Leonard C. Spano, Sr. in 2018; two sons, Mark and David; two sisters, Ruth Lowe and Mary Guiterrez; two brothers, Bill and Garry Boardman.
Eleanor is survived by her daughter, Patricia A. Cornell of Phoenix, NY; two sons, Chris L. Spano of Phoenix, NY and Leonard C. (Lori) Spano, Jr. of Pulaski, NY; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; sister, Beverly (Raymond) Poore; brothers, Jack (Lynne) Ramsey and Robert (Rosie) Ramsey and Philip (Barbara) Boardman; several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends may call from 5:00 – 7:00 pm on Thursday, September 24, 2020 at THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY. A Funeral Service in celebration of Eleanor’s life will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, September 25, 2020 at THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, followed by interment at Phoenix Rural Cemetery.
