Eleanora (Mannara) Daloia's Obituary
Eleanora (Mannara) Daloia, 94, passed to the lord on Saturday, June 27, 2015 at the Francis House. She was born in Syracuse on May 29, 1921, the daughter of the late Ferdinando and Rosanna (DiOrio) Mannara. Eleanora was the wife of the late Stephen Daloia from Auburn. She graduated from Syracuse North High School and attended classes at Le Moyne College. Eleanora was employed at New York Telephone Company and after retirement worked in sales at Flahs and Addis Co.
She was the sister to the late Joseph (Fanny), Thomas and Susan (James) Vendetti. Eleanora is survived by sisters, Rose, Caroline, Mary Anne and Loretta; brothers, Louis and Rev. Fred Mannara; 11 nieces and nephews and 20 grand-nieces and grand-nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am on Tuesday, June 30, 2015 at Most Holy Rosary Church. Burial will follow in Assumption Cemetery. THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME is handling funeral arrangements.
