Eletta E. (Griffo) Costantino's Obituary
Eletta E. (Griffo) Costantino, 76, of Liverpool, passed away Thursday, January 23, 2025 at Crouse Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Calabria, Italy, daughter of the late Gregorio and Caterina Griffo. Eletta worked at St. Joseph’s Hospital in housekeeping. She was a devout Catholic, deeply religious, and member of St. Rose of Lima Church for many years. Eletta was very devoted to her family, and they will truly miss her.
In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her sister, Rose Pizzari and her brother, Florestano Griffo.
Eletta is survived by her devoted husband of 52 years, Silvio Costantino; daughter, Caterina Costantino-Nisiewicz and son-in-law, Joseph Nisiewicz Jr., daughter, Cristina Costantino; her son, Carmine Costantino; five grandchildren, Ryan Nisiewicz, Silvia Nisiewicz, Gabriel Costantino, Aria Costantino and Noah Costantino; two sisters, Maria Sgromo and Rina Muraca; her brother, Mario Griffo, along with many nieces and nephews.
In addition, she adored her children's pets and loved them like her own. Bo, Bently, Rocky, Saphira, Peaches, Eros and Cash.

A funeral Mass in celebration of Eletta’s life will be held on Thursday, January 30, 2025, 10:00 am at St. Rose of Lima Church, 409 S. Main St. North Syracuse, NY. She will be laid to rest in Our Lady of Peace Cemetery Mausoleum. Visitation will take place on Wednesday, January 29, 2025, from 4:00 – 6:00 P.M. at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME 3401 Vickery Rd. (Corner of Buckley Rd.) N. Syracuse, NY.
