Elias S. Saba's Obituary
Elias S. Saba, 42, of Fulton, passed away Sunday, October 1, 2017. He was born in Tel Aviv, Israel and resided in the Syracuse area. Elias was a graduate of Henninger High School and attended OCC and SU. He was self-employed and founder of Saba’s Unified Data. Elias was a pilot and enjoyed flying. He also enjoyed being on the water. Elias loved spending time with his wife and children. His passion for life will live on through his children and family.
Elias is survived by his wife, Janell (Markes) Saba; four children, Mark Saba, Salim Saba, Elizabeth Saba, and Elias Saba, Jr.; his parents, Salim and Elizabeth (Zarour) Saba; two brothers, Samy (Melanie) Saba and George (Jillian) Saba; his sister, Germeine (John) Steiler; maternal grandmother, Arsiak Zarour; paternal grandmother, Germeine Saba; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. He had a special relationship with his Uncle Faiek Zarour and his close friend, Chady.
A Funeral Service in celebration of Elias’ life will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, October 7, 2017 at St. Elias Orthodox Church, 4988 Onondaga Rd., Syracuse, NY. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, DeWitt. Family and friends may call from 4:00 – 7:00 pm with a Trisagion service at 6:30 pm on Friday, October 6, 2017 at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY.
