Elinor R. (Zell) Venditti's Obituary
Elinor “Ellie” (Zell) Venditti, 80, of Cicero, passed away peacefully at St. Joseph’s Hospital Sunday morning with her family by her side. She was born in Syracuse and graduated from North High School.
Ellie enjoyed spending summers with her family at Raquette Lake, her yearly trip to Aruba, Sunday dinners with her family, trips to the casino, lunches with her friends and “a glass of wine with extra ice”.
Ellie was predeceased by her husband of 50 years, John F. Venditti; daughter, Cindy Marks; son, John A. Venditti; grandson, Joel Marks; brother, Carl Zell and sister, Mary Robinson.
Ellie is survived by a son, David (Julie); two grandsons, Jason (Molly) and Justin (Hope) and a granddaughter, Nicole McDonald (Jim); four great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews and her dog Toby.
Family and friends may call from 4:00 – 7:00 pm on Friday, November 2, 2018 at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY. A Funeral Mass in celebration of Elinor’s life will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, November 3, 2018 at Sacred Heart Church of Cicero. Private burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Christian Brothers Academy or Sacred Heart Church of Cicero.
