Elizabeth "Betty" Chrisogonou's Obituary
Elizabeth "Betty" (DelleFave) Chrisogonou, 62, of Brewerton, passed away on Friday. She was born in Syracuse and was previously employed as a teacher's assistant at Seymour School. Betty loved working outdoors, gardening and decorating her home and others, and traveling with her family. Her true passion was seen in her selfless devotion to her family, friends and pets. A devoted wife, mother and caretaker for her parents, she was all about giving. She was predeceased by her parents, Anthony and Lauretta (Dambro) DelleFave. Betty is survived by her loving husband, George M. Chrisogonou; her three children, Kim M. (Cecil) Chrisogonou-Witt of Key West, FL; Amy K. Chrisogonou of New York City and David G. (Taylor) Chrisogonou of Syracuse; several aunts, uncles and cousins. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday at 12:30 PM in Our Lady of Pompei/St. Peter Church. Entombment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery Mausoleum. Family and friends may call at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY on Monday from 4 to 7 PM. Contributions in Betty's name may be made to Make-A-Wish Foundation and/or Humane Association.
