Elizabeth L. (Bosley) Cook's Obituary
Elizabeth L. (Bosley) Cook, 83, of Syracuse, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 27, 2015 at St. Joseph’s Hospital. She was born in Syracuse and was a graduate of North High School. Elizabeth was an office manager for Syracuse University Testing Services, retiring in 1994 after over 25 years of dedicated service. Elizabeth cherished spending time with her grandchildren, enjoyed card games and was an avid SU sports fan, especially enjoying Basketball and Football.
Elizabeth is survived by her three children, Carl (Susan) Cook of DeWitt, Keith (Michelle) Cook of Albany, and Karen (David) O’Neill of North Syracuse; seven grandchildren; four great- grandchildren; her aunt, Phyllis Greco of Syracuse, along with several cousins.
Her family would like to thank the Emergency Department, floors 1-5 and 1-8 at St. Joseph’s Hospital for their support and care.
Funeral services will be held at 8:30 am on Saturday, May 2, 2015 at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, followed by a Funeral Mass in celebration of Elizabeth’s life at 9:30 am in Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, Liverpool. Burial will be in Assumption Cemetery. Family and friends may call from 4:00 to 7:00 pm on Friday, May 1, 2015 at the funeral home, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY.
