Elizabeth A. "Liz" Santangelo's Obituary
Elizabeth A. "Liz" Santangelo, 62, of Liverpool passed away peacefully on Sunday surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Danville, PA and resided in the Syracuse area for many years. Liz was a graduate of Pittston School of Nursing and became a registered nurse. She enjoyed crocheting and gardening. But most of all, Liz loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Liz is survived by her loving husband of 41 years, Robert M. Santangelo; her three sons, Anthony M. (Kristine) Santangelo of Buffalo; Thomas J. (Kelly) Santangelo of Colorado and Mark J. Santangelo of Liverpool; her daughter, Ann M. (Terence) LaCasse of Alabama; four grandchildren, Madison, Emily, Benjamin and Sebastian; a sister, Linda Wenner of PA along with many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 9:00 am at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME and 10:00 am in Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, where a funeral mass will be celebrated. Entombment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery Mausoleum. Family and friends may call at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse on Wednesday from 5:00 to 7:00 pm.
