Elizabeth (Staiano) Stagnitta's Obituary
Elizabeth (Staiano) Stagnitta, 83, of Cicero, passed away on Monday, July 25, 2016
at St. Joseph’s Hospital. Elizabeth was born in Syracuse and retired from McKesson and Robin Wholesale Drug Co. as a warehouse worker.
She was predeceased by her parents, Gertrude Larson and Ralph V. Staiano, Sr.
Elizabeth is survived by her husband of 60 years, Anthony Stagnitta; brothers, Sam (Olive) Staiano and Ralph (Maria) Staiano; sisters, Shirley (John) DeRoche and
Jo-Anne (Antonio) Balestra. Also survived by brother-in-law and sister-in-law, James and Theresa Stagnitta, Godchildren, special friends and many many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank Dr. Michael Siegenthaler, Dr. Brian Kline, Dr. A.J. Shawl; nurses, Trish, Lucy and Alexis on Unit 1-5 for the comfort and care they gave to our loved one and her family.
Family and Friends may call on Thursday, July 28, 2016 from 4:00 PM – 6:30 PM, followed by a 6:30 PM funeral service in celebration of Elizabeth’s life at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY. Entombment will be held on Friday, July 29, 2016 at 12:00 pm at Woodlawn Cemetery Mausoleum.
