Ellamae R. (Brown) Pealo's Obituary
Ellamae R. (Brown) Pealo, 89, of Syracuse, passed away peacefully at Loretto Nursing and Rehab surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Palermo, NY to the late Ralph and Marian Brown and graduated from Mexico High School in 1951. Ellamae retired from the Syracuse VA Hospital after many years of dedicated service. For more than 70 years, she dedicated time to her community by donating her time as a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.
Besides her parents, she is predeceased by her son, Patrick in 2013 and her granddaughter, Jennifer in 2004.
Ellamae is survived by her daughters, Rorie (Kais) Elkaisy, of Cicero and Connie Miller, of Solvay; three grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
In keeping with Ellamae’s wishes, her body was donated to science and funeral services will be private.
