Else M. (Hild) Reuter's Obituary
Else M. (Hild) Reuter, 95, resident of North Syracuse, passed away on Monday, April 24, 2017. She was born in Niederscheld, Germany, and immigrated to the United States in 1951 where she met Carl, her loving husband of 62 years who passed away in 2014. Else worked in accounting for Edwards Department Store, and First Trust Bank, retiring in 1979.
Her great love, generosity, and dedication to her family, neighbors, and friends will always be remembered and serve as an ongoing inspiration.
Else is survived by her daughters, Linda (Al) Metz, and Diane (Steve) Dunn; grandsons, Eric (Megan) Metz, Peter Metz, Steven Dunn, Christopher Dunn, and great-grandson, Arthur Metz.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, April 28, 2017 at Assumption Church, 812 N. Salina St., Syracuse. Burial will follow in Assumption Cemetery. There will be no calling hours.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Red Cross, PO Box 37839, Boone, IA 50037-0839.
