Elvira (Avicolli) Perez's Obituary
Elvira (Avicolli) Perez, 45, of East Islip, NY passed away on Thursday. She was born in Isernia, Italy. Elvira was the Director of Admissions at Gibb's College and The American Institute. She was predeceased by her father, Antonio Avicolli in 2004 and her sister, Luciana Avicolli in 2011. Elvira is survived by her loving husband, Edward "Eddie" Perez; her mother, Carmela (Gentile) Avicolli of Brewerton; two brothers, Nick (Carla) Avicolli of Brewerton and Fabrizio Avicolli of Liverpool; a sister, Olimpia (Nick) Tribuzio of Brooklyn and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday at 9:00 AM in the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME and 10:00 AM in Our Lady of Pompei/St. Peter Church, where a mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Entombment will follow in Our Lady of Peace Cemetery Mausoleum. Family and friends may call at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY on Monday from 4 to 7 PM.
