Ennio DiFelice's Obituary
Ennio DiFelice, 80, of East Syracuse, passed away on Monday peacefully with his family by his side after a short battle with cancer. He was born in Pratola Peligna, Italy, the son of the late Beniamino and Felicetta DiFelice and moved to the Syracuse area at the age of 28. Ennio retired from Hoffmann Air Filtration Systems in 1995. He was also a chef at Barbuto's Restaurant for over 15 years and was an avid gardener. Ennio loved his many trips to Italy with his family and enjoyed spending time with them, especially his grandchildren.
Ennio is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Sally (Mansfield) DiFelice; his beloved daughters, Sara (Daniel) DeJulio of East Syracuse and Analisa (Francis) Stinziano, Jr. of Minoa; four cherished grandchildren, Krista DeJulio, Kyra DeJulio, Adele Stinziano and Joslin Stinziano; brother-in-law, Spencer (Carla) Mansfield of Port St. Lucie, FL along with many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A funeral service in celebration of Ennio's life will be held on Saturday at 9:00 am in the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Cazenovia. Family and friends may call at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME on Friday from 4:00 to 7:00 pm.
