Enrica (DeSantis) Zio's Obituary
Enrichetta “Enrica” (DeSantis) Zio, 79, of Liverpool, passed away at Upstate University Hospital surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, March 10, 2015. She was born in San Martino, Italy and moved to the Syracuse area in 1965. Enrica was formerly employed with Learbury’s and Onondaga Uniform. Enrica and her husband Fiore then opened Zio’s Tailor Shop until their retirement in 1997. She loved cooking for family and friends and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
Enrica is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Fiore Zio; her daughter, Marianna (Sean) Rancier of Liverpool; three grandchildren, Sean, Alexandra, and Addison; her brother, Nicola DeSantis of Italy, along with many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Funeral Mass in celebration of Enrica’s life will be held at Noon on Friday, March 13, 2015 at Christ the King Church, Liverpool. Entombment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery Mausoleum.
