Eric "Ricky" Lakehomer's Obituary
Eric “Ricky” Walter Lakehomer, 61, of Manlius, passed away suddenly at home Saturday, December 16th 2017. He was a graduate of Jamesville –DeWitt High School, and attended Mohawk Valley Community College.
Ricky married his high school sweetheart, Sindy, and had 2 children; Tiffany and John, he operated The Shoe Inn for 22 years, before working at New Venture Gear for 11 years, until his retirement. His entire life, Ricky was passionate about his love of cars, his family, and his cherished dog, Cash.
He is predeceased by his wife, Sindy ( Italiano) Lakehomer as well as his father and mother-in-law, Anthony and Diane Italiano. He is survived by his daughter, Tiffany Lakehomer; his son, John Lakehomer (Samantha Garafalo); his Parents, Bill and Lois Lakehomer; his sister, Sindee Lakehomer-Shaulinski (Tom) and several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends may call on Friday, December 22, 2017 from 11:30 A.M. - 12:30 P.M. at the Thomas J. Pirro Jr. Funeral Home, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY. followed by a funeral service in celebration of Ricky’s life at 1:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Entombment will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery Mausoleum, DeWitt.
