Ernest "Dutch" W. Gratien's Obituary
Ernest “Dutch” W. Gratien, 91, of Liverpool, NY, passed away January 28, 2022 after a brief battle with cancer. He was a lifelong resident of the Syracuse area but also enjoyed spending time in Georgia and Florida. He loved football and was a huge fan of the Miami Dolphins.
Dutch is predeceased by wife Mary Jane Tangredi, son-in-law David C. LaCelle, and grandson David J. LaCelle.
He is survived by children: Mickey Geelan (Redonna), Debbie LaCelle, and Mark Gratien (Janice); grandchildren: Mickey Geelan, Jr., Chad Geelan, Jess LaCelle, Rachel LaCelle, and Joe LaCelle; great-grandchildren: Jeremiah, Mason, Cameron, Ethan, and Savannah
along with many nieces, nephews and friends.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, April 2, 2022 in North Syracuse Cemetery, with a luncheon to follow.
